In the spirit of reconciliation Leonita Creations acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respect to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today. Leonita has with gratitude, lived and worked on Quandamooka country for over 26 years, South East of Meenjin, (Brisbane's Bayside). Artist and Activist, she is inspired by people, humanity, music, nature, tribal cultures, dreams and life experiences. Leonita enjoys creating beautiful Art and items that are durable, functional and unique, regarding creativity as a spiritual practice and an expression of positive energy and healing. All the items at Leonita Creations are handmade, each piece is individually created from start to finish. Leonita’s Products are created locally in Quandamooka country, at her home-based studio/workshop. Always looking for ways to recycle and re-use materials, Leonita loves working with a variety of mediums, from printing fabrics, making clothing and accessories, to painting, costumes and Custom jewellery.
