My name is Alexia Mendez, I am 26 year old from New York. Graduated with a BA in Psychology and minor is visual arts. I am a self taught fluid artist. I specialized in alcohol inks and resin arts. I enjoy making functional arts such as handpainted/ handmade home goods, jewelry, and more!
I have always loved art since I was a young girl. It has always brought a balance to my life and was always something I can express my emotions into.
I began doing function arts as a way to connect with people. Being able to create a piece of art that they can use daily or carry with them and seeing the memories and happiness it can bring them throughout the years is why I enjoy doing the art I do.
