Visual Art – Perth

I have always been fascinated by human behaviour, the idea of tradition and rules…… what’s right and what’s wrong, that which is embraced and that which is shunned upon. Based predominantly on personal experiences and observation of others, my art seeks to find solutions in this complex world we live in….. Also too the found object has always interested me in that whilst discarded, it searches soulfully for a new owner. The adoption of this random surface or object is the beginning of a new journey for both us. I have always been intrigued by surfaces that offer great beginnings and those that emit evidence of the suggestive or possible. With personal experiences and memories on board, arise the basis of my ideas. Narratives and storytelling, combined with my Italian heritage have driven the concepts and images presented, especially in terms of relationships, traditions and morality. My intention has always been to present the audacious and venturous thoughts often in a subtle manner, sometimes with controversy and often served with a twist of humour. Cocktail style!
