Nicki Hall

By day, my work involves curriculum and research and I also study Internet Communications and marketing. By night, I am an industrious jewellery maker who is passionate about design, loves being part of the handmade community and have an obsession for creating beautiful things. I am a self-taught jewellery designer/ maker and began creating one-of-a-kind beaded jewellery with artisan and vintage components around 6 and a half years ago. I have recently moved into laser cutting my own designs as a natural progression from formerly working as a graphic designer. This has given me the opportunity to incorporate elements of my original beaded designs into something more contemporary. I dabble in hand-forging metals and polymer clay to create unique elements for my designs and (lovingly) hand paint and decoupage my wooden range for a unique finish. My beaded work has been published in Bead Trends Magazine and I stock to a few local Brisbane boutiques as well as a couple in the Sunshine Coast. I will soon to be in Canberra too(you can find a list on the stockists page of my website). I am a BrisStyle member and love to get to the BrisStyle Indie Twilight markets whenever I can.
