Visual Art – New Orleans
Brandy Dufrene is an artist and photographer living and working in New Orleans. Born south of New Orleans, in Louisiana’s sleepy bayou country, she developed a deep love of the natural environment. An interest in the grace and beauty of age began early on, and has matured and grown through the years. Nature and life’s Patina are reoccurring themes in her artwork; the imperfections, the gnarls, and the beautiful decay that make life interesting. She enjoys using natural and/or unusual pigments, reclaimed wood, and items found in her wanderings. Works include illustration, photography, and mixed media.
