’Colourful and playful art inspired by night skies, water, and the unknown’ My alter ego, LoppArt, is inspired by my childhood – with my dad, a man with a kind heart and a playful mind, nicknaming me Loppi. I want my art to encourage viewers to bring out their playfulness and stay connected with their inner child. Being from Sweden with its variety of seasons and moods - from cold and long winters to summers where the sun doesn’t set - I’ve been inspired by these beautiful settings. I find myself connected strongly to nature and the emotions these scenes strike and I believe that my paintings tell the stories that connect my spirit with the canvas. As a night owl I create most of my art during evenings. I find the silence and the darkness of the unknown both comforting and inspiring - this is a key element of my creativity. Each piece inspires the next, with the spirit of the scene carrying through.
