Lucinda Goodwin Photography

Photography – Melbourne

LUCINDA GOODWIN As a relative new kid on the block, usually the youngest in the pit, Lucinda Goodwin still holds her own amongst the best. A fresh faced 18 year old with a passion for live music and a developing interest in Photography Lucinda combined the two after watching the photographers scramble in the pit at Falls Festival back in 2010. Completing a Cert 4/Diploma in Photoimaging in 2011/2012 she used all spare time to photograph national & international acts for a handful of magazines that had taken a chance on the 18 year old as part of their photographic teams. Lucinda’s work can be described as, crisp, vibrant imagery, capturing movement and emotion on stage. She likes capturing “moments” in live performance, and showing the audience a snapshot of performers live presence. Now As a regular pit go-er she has seen it all - been kicked in the head by Jake Stone (Bluejuice), had Bliss N Eso Point down her lens, Photographed Matt Corby 3 times in a week, flown to Sydney for 3 days to photograph a festival, been crushed by crowd surfers, seen multiple streakers at the annual Reclink Cup, witnessed a beard appreciation gig with “The Beards”, is a regular contributor to 9 different online and print magazines, photographs on average 3-4 gigs a week, and has come full circle 4 years on, photographing the event that started the journey, Falls Festival 2014. See her work at her Debut solo exhibition in Aug 2015.
