Lyrik Cruz, of Puerto Rican descent, has many talents. Creative Director, Choreographer ,poet and publicist. HIs creative mind has taken the entertainment world by storm having a positive impact on all those he comes across. Born and raised in the heart of Humboldt Park, Puerto Rican barrio of Chicago, Lyrik started his first dance company at 17 years of age. Since then Lyrik has been part of major productions at prestigious theaters nationwide including The Auditorium Theater (Chicago), The Apollo Theater (NYC) and The Jackie Gleason Theater ( Miami). Dance has always been a passion for Lyrik; a positive outlet for releasing his frustrations and fears. Lyrik has become a highly acclaimed world renowned choreographer and master instructor that has traveled to over 26 countries including Canada, West Africa, South America, Europe, Asia, Singapore, India, Sweden, Italy, France, the Caribbean and Canary Islands. Lyrik now is living bi-coastal between NYC and the City of Dreams Los Angeles where he continues to work in dance, works as a Publicist for independent artist and is diving back into the acting world. Always having a passion for giving back to dance he founded a non-for-profit performing arts program \"The Dream Project\" which is currently serving the kids of East LA with its mission is to empower our youth through the power of music & dance.
