I began painting as my creative outlet about five years ago. Raised in the PNW I’m an avid hiker and nature lover, however the winters are long and sometimes unpleasant— so I had to find something to do indoors as well. My paintings have progressed from mainly acrylic to mainly oil paintings, and I’m currently in the process of redesigning some paintings that I don’t feel match the space I’d like to create anymore. I’ve dabbled in natural dyes with linen as well— with the product being down stuffed linen throw pillows. It’s a steep learning curve to learn natural dyes and sewing at the same time, but the journey has been incredible.
