Performing Art – Seattle
Based in Seattle, WA, Maeve Barton is a freelance dancer, choreographer, and performer. A graduate from Cornish College of the Arts through the Advanced Degree Program in 2018, they have continued their dance training in cities such as Berlin, Seattle, and Quebéc. Barton has had the pleasure of performing in the works of choreographers such as Danielle Agami, Beth Terwilleger, Bruce McCormick, Cameo Lethem, Babette DeLafayette Pendleton, and more. Their choreography has been shown at Base: Experimental Arts + Space, Velocity Dance Center, Vashon Center for the Arts, Open Space for Arts and Community, and Kerry Hall. Currently, they are working on a new experimental dance film titled “they tower above”, which you can find updates for on all social media, and donate to their Venmo!
