I was disabled at fourteen after being hit in the back by a drunk driver doing 75mph in a 1965 Dodge pickup. I was a pedestrian waiting for the morning school bus. I was outed by the guidance counselor in my high school when I was fifteen as being homosexual. This further increased the bullying and physical attacks against me. When I defended myself, I was expelled from school with no actions taken against the aggressors. After spending over a decade wandering, I really began to focus on the idea of turning my artwork into something more. My artwork is what has gotten me through everything. I am now constantly working to improve both my traditional drawing and my digital painting skills. And while I am disabled, I am a Onewheel enthusiast as it has allowed me to be able to get around and experience as well as enjoy life more again. ...more
