Mark Tippett (TIPPETTURES) began working life in commercial art, working in advertising layout and design before computer graphic design and art direction. I have always liked drawing and painting portraits, especially the art of caricature – in which I call a form of 'social commentary'. I have entered the Archibald Prize three times, and its more laconic ‘partner’, the celebrated Bald Archy Prize, five times. My style is still developing and I specialise in commissioned fine art caricature portraits: single and family portraits, as well as working at the odd function and event. I am in the final year of a Bachelor of Fine Arts.
