Visual Art – Colorado Springs

I am a recent Colorado College graduate from Santa Fe, NM. I grew up playing in the dirt and river behind my house, never wearing shoes simply because I preferred to feel the earth beneath my feet. I collected scraps from an abandoned dump near my home to build into robots and other sculptures. During high school I painted, acted, and began to work in metal for the first time. I interned at Shidoni Foundry in Tesuque, NM for a year and took blacksmithing for a semester. I have spent time studying art in Honduras, Israel, Russia, Finland, Spain, and France, and am interested in the global society that we are entering. The spreading of information has now become the spreading of ideas and actions. I believe that only we can only survive as a global community. Right now I am in the process of setting up my own studio in Espanola, NM, and hopefully a collaborative studio warehouse in Denver, CO.
