Meg Randall
Visual Art – Houston
Megan Randall is a photographer and painter from Houston, Texas. She has taken part in many showcases, acquired commissions from patrons and has sold her work professionally. Her main focus is to look for the next opportunity to translate life experiences into art and tap into the emotions of people to express a theme. At the age of16, she participated in her first showcase and since then, has grown her artistic style to include more thought-provoking subject matter. Her style is based primarily of women of all races and shapes, but also challenges perspectives of sexuality and civil rights issues. She loves to use multi-media concepts to depict bright vivid colors and meticulous detail. Many of her portraits include characteristics that challenge perspectives of physical imperfections and instead, strives to portray the beauty in imperfection. She primarily takes her own photographs for her work and often works with patrons on coming up with inspiration for commissions. At the moment, her goal is to be showcased in a professional gallery and to touch lives by invoking emotional responses and thoughtful new perspectives of issues that are in society today.
