Visual Art – Orange County
I decided I wanted to be an artist in middle school and took many art classes in high school. In college I found my passion with painting. After college I continued painting, got married and had two children. Once the children were born I put down the brushes for about 7 years. In 2011 I decided to start painting again. To get back into the swing of things, I made a commitment to do one flower painting a week for all of that year. I really liked the discipline of the \'flower project\', so this year I am working on \'literary figures\' I am painting a different character from some of my favorite books each month.
