Film – Providence

I grew up in New England, and since childhood, the things that moved me and inspired me the most were the stories I loved and the characters that I connected with through my favorite films. The art of a story, and the medium through which it's told has been my teacher for as long as I can remember. I started young when my parents gifted me a pocket sized Nikon camera, with which I used to make my first films and scenes in the basement of my parent's home. Thankfully, those first films have been lost to time, but I have been growing in every regard ever since. As I matured, I had stumbled upon another artform that captured my heart for the following ten years, dance. Through which, I trained to a professional level, worked with dance studios and companies across New England, traveled, performed, and even became an instructor near the end. At a certain point, I rediscovered my love for film and cinematography and I had the good fortune of already being surrounded by talented and ambitions creatives in the dance industry that started calling me to shoot their dance projects now instead of perform in them. That was the pad from which I launched into the film industry. Since then, I have gone on to dip my toes into many different content genres of this medium, such as portrait photography, wedding videos, dance videos, music videos, interviews, documentaries, short films, commercial and social media content. I have worked with many local directors and major production studios such as New England Studios. I have worked with and owned many of the higher end cameras on the market from brands like SONY, ARRI, RED, and Blackmagic Design. I never had a mentor, and I never went to film school. Everything I know, I have learned on my own through independent study and practical experience. I am an inspired and determined artist that has a desire to create things that meet the deeper needs of those that watch and listen.
