Photography – San Diego

As a kid, my parents tried hard to get me into art, but I just enjoyed playing with my friends more. It wasn't until Pearl Jam's first album came out that I got into music. It was also around the same time that I hear 2Pac. That was my entry to art appreciation. I taught myself graphic design and would make mock album covers of my favorite artists. This started my string of trials and errors in different mediums of expression. I got into photography, improv comedy, spoken word, acting, video production and music production. I released a few spoken word pieces, have produced songs for others, have hosted and been part of TV shows in the Phillippines and produced and directed videos as well. All this led me to confusion with so many mediums available. As I assessed myself, I realized that what I like in all this is the ability to tell stories, to indirectly start conversations. I am not focusing on one medium as I believe they have their specific purposes and audience. I just think that photography is the quickest way.
