Molly Levine joined the NBC 10 News team in June 2021 as a multimedia journalist. In June 2023, she was promoted to her current role of NBC 10 Weekend Sunrise anchor. Although born and raised in Connecticut, Molly grew up vacationing in Misquamicut and Matunuck for years with her family and always hoped to call the Ocean State home one day. Molly graduated from Indiana University with a degree in sports media with a broadcast track. While in college, she worked as a videographer in the Mark Cuban Center and took on several internships. Molly was a sports intern at NBC Connecticut, covering local college and professional teams. She also interned for CBS Sports as a production assistant at the 2019 NCAA Final Four basketball tournament. Molly was a student-athlete for four years at Indiana University, as a member of the IU Coed Cheerleading team, cheering for the men's basketball and football teams. After graduating in 2019, Molly spent two years in Jacksonville/New Bern, North Carolina, as a breaking news anchor and multimedia journalist for WCTI NewsChannel 12. As a reporter in the field, she covered hurricanes Dorian and Isaias, the 2020 North Carolina gubernatorial race, and many stories aboard the United States Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune. After two years in the South, Molly made her way back to New England to work at WJAR. In 2023, Molly received a Best of Rhode Island award for Best Television News Reporter/Female, Statewide.
