Michael Bonardi, the founder of Money-Rings obtained his BFA from Columbus College of Art and Design in 2004 and has maintained a healthy studio practice since graduating. Over those years Michael Bonardi has worked with a wide array of media including but not limited to painting, wheel-thrown porcelain, blown-glass, experimental photography, performance and other conceptual work. He has had several solo exhibitions, work in numerous juried/group shows and even work shown abroad. He currently has a permanent blown glass installation at the Monte Carlo Casino, Las Vegas. On a mission to make creating art a full-time career Michael picked up the media of jewelry and began experimenting with coins as the raw material in February of 2013. In July of 2013 he quit his full-time job and now spends 90% of his creative time working with his jewelry brand Money-Rings which can now be found in stores from Pennsylvania to California. His studio is located in the Whittier Peninsula of Columbus, Ohio.
