Performing Art – Philadelphia

Monica Hill is an independent dance artist, performer, and dreamer based in the Tri-state area (i.e. NY, NJ, PA). Graduating from University of the Arts in 2021, Monica has a BFA in Dance and Minor in Musical Theater. Previously in 2017, she graduated from the Fine and Performing Arts Center (FPAC) at Howell High School in New Jersey. Here Monica specialized in Dance and also took classes in Acting, Singing, & Musical Theater. Outside of school, she worked and danced competitively at Step By Step Dance Studio until 2016. Monica Hill is currently a part of multiple companies and dance groups: She is a member of Bad Girls In Heels, the first heels training company in Philadelphia; the Kiki House of Paragon, a vogue ballroom house with Mother Rylee Prodigy; and Grace Dance Theater Company, a grassroots organization celebrating 32 years. Administratively, Monica is a Tap teacher at a local Philly dance studio and is a counselor/assistant for Urban Movement Arts and their After School Philly program. Back in 2021, Monica was a part of the Tech & Logistics crew for the MFA summer program at The University of The Arts. Recently, Monica has performed in the RAW Artist InspiHERed Philadelphia Showcase, Sybarite Productions LoveIsLove New York, Creative Reactions NEXT IN LINE 2.0, Urban Movement Arts WORKINONIT showcase, and Grace Dance Theaters Praise Is The Cure Benefit Dance Concert. She also attended the Vogue 4 Your Life Intensive by Arturo Miyake-Mugler, and can be seen in two soon-to-be-released dance videos. She is currently based in Philadelphia.
