As a kid I was already creative and making a canvas out of any material and any space I could find. I apologize to my parents and other family members for my crayon wall murals in my early years ;)... Even that early I found my gifts to be associated in the arts. When I started school I was recognized with awards from my hometown of Montclair, CA from the mayor beginning in kindergarten for my various posters and other art pieces. While attending college at Cal Poly University Pomona, I began my college career as a Fashion Production major and enjoyed designing clothing and the whole creative process. But my love has always been makeup. I worked in the modeling industry throughout my 20's and did my own makeup for various events and photo shoots as well as other models. My makeup has been published internationally in various projects that I worked on. I decided to branch off into other genres of makeup besides glam and invested in myself and attended the prestigious EI makeup academy in Hollywood,CA. Upon graduating I expanded my skill set to include airbrush makeup, theater makeup, body painting, special effects, sculpting and how to make prosthetics as well as successfully apply them. I am currently working for a makeup company as a makeup artist as well as an educator. I truly love teaching others about the artistry of makeup and confidence. Makeup isn't about changing who you are it's to accentuate who you are and to elevate and celebrate your true self. My favorite thing about makeup is that it's not permanent. You can be who you want without truly changing yourself. I can transform clients into beauty queens or zombies and the best part?...when you're done with playing "dress up" you can take it off and still be you at the end of the day.
