Morpheus Ravenna

Performing Art – San Francisco

Morpheus Ravenna is a dancer, artist, spiritual teacher, and Witchcraft initiate. Her interests include devotional arts, folk magic, theurgy, and Celtic heroic spirituality. She is an accomplished artist, creating artwork since she could hold a pencil, learning to draw before she could read. Her art expertise includes painting in oil and watercolor, works in ink and pencil, etched metal jewelry craft, and body art design including henna and tattoo. She blends art and magic through the creation of beautiful and powerful sigils, bindrunes, and other works of beauty and sorcery. She has also studied folkloric and belly dance for about twenty years and is known for her striking invocatory ecstatic dance, a regular performer at the SF arts showcase Hexenfest. She is a dedicant and priestess of the Morrigan, the Celtic Goddess of sovereignty, battle, and prophecy, and she leads the Coru Cathubodua, a priesthood dedicated to the Morrigan. Her work at Stone City Pagan Sanctuary has helped provide a space for Pagan and nature-based community in northern California, and she recently appeared in the documentary “American Mystic.”
