Canadian of Egyptian origin, Mourad was born in Egypt in 1975. He graduated in urban planning and architectural engineering from Cairo in 1999. In 2000, as a free student, he studied modern visual art at Hilwan University. Cairo. From the age of 13, Mourad showed his love for visual art. In 1989, at the age of 14, he participated in his first exhibition. Over time, he participated in many cultural events in major Egyptian cities, especially in Cairo, where he won numerous awards. Despite a busy schedule he has always kept a great artistic interest The Cairo Atelier, one of the oldest and most prestigious cultural institutions in Egypt, dedicates his first solo exhibition in 2001, with the presentation of his surrealist works . At this time he devoted himself mainly to realism in the creation of canvases and porcelains. Subsequently, he participated in numerous exhibitions until his move to Quebec in 2017 where he resumed his artistic approach by participating in several exhibitions in different regions of Quebec, including the Gaspé Peninsula and Montreal. He expands his work on surrealism.
