Traditionally trained as an illustrator, my art has never been about one medium or another, more so its about whatever is appropriate for the artistic expression and what feels right at the time of creation, often incorporating painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, design, and collage. For me art is a release, allowing me to address feelings and emotions I am often otherwise unable to express. It is just as much about the process for me as the final piece. That process is one of constant observation and collection. A continual push and pull between me and the art that is intimate and meticulous. Pieces often taking months, or even years of adding and taking away, working and reworking, before I feel like they are complete, if at all. Deep and layered my art is just as much about what I choose not to show as what I do
