Beauty – Vancouver
Originally from Doncaster in South Yorkshire England, Natalie has always had an interest in make-up ever since her mother took her to the Boots beauty counter at the early age of 13 to purchase her very first beauty products. Being taught from a young age to embrace her flaws and enhance her attributes made her feel bold and beautiful without compromising her natural beauty.
At the age of 24 Nat immigrated to Vancouver British Columbia, to continue her studies in English Literature. After going on to study Business, Nat longed for a creative outlet. As an inspiring writer Nat could create her characters through words, however Nat wanted to explore how she could physically create her characters, whether that may be the beautiful model on the catwalk, the blushing bride on her big day or a character stepping out onto a film set for the first time. By chance, Nat was given the opportunity to attend New Image College of Fine Arts in Vancouver which encouraged her to finally make the decision to turn her back on the corporate world and pursue her dreams of becoming a make-up artist.
Nat graduated her 1 year intense make-up course in Film, Fashion & Television with excellence and now specializes in Bridal and Prom services, Fashion Editorials, Body Paint & Airbrushing and most recently worked as a Special Effects make-up artist on her first feature ‘The Privileged’. Nat is now an established artist and director and her drive and passion for the industry encouraged her to launch her own business. Nat is excited to embrace the opportunities that Vancouver will offer her creativity and personal growth within Love & Lipgloss.
