Nathan J Lester has been working as a photographic artist for over 20 years. Whilst still working in the photographic medium to a large degree, more recently his work has evolved into paintings based on his photographs. Each image is abstracted and painted onto canvas and is derived from a portrait of a person or a part of the body as this is the core of Nathan J Lester's photographic work. Working with only a small number of colours he creates striking and bold images on small through to very large canvases.
