Nicole was born into a family of dancers. She began dancing at Kick\'s in Shelton, CT owned by her grandmother, Zita Carrano. She grew up doing musical theatre and went on to obtain her BFA in Theater and Dance at Central CT State University. As a college student, she became the president of the on-campus dance company, Dancentral in which she performed, choreographed for, and helped plan rehearsals and performances. Her choreographic work, \"Brother John\" was presented at the American College Dance Festival in Boston. After graduating, Nicole has been teaching dance at her mother\'s dance studio, All That Dance in Milford, CT as well as performing in community musical theater productions like \"Hairspray\", \"42nd Street\", and \"Legally Blonde\". She performed a solo piece as well as a group piece with her company, DanceByFire in the July RAW Connecticut Showcase.
