Nikki Illustration

I am a Montreal based visual artist/illustrator with a background in Fine Arts. I’m greatly inspired by nature, various cultural mythologies (I have a particular soft spot for Japanese art and folklore), stories that incorporate spirits and creatures. My work has taken many different forms over the years; dreamlike and surreal paintings, illustrations painted on wood different kinds of crafts (for example miniature biomes in terrariums, handmade jewelry and others), as well as printed media.
