Visual Art – Montréal

Anna Nixon completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Concordia University in 2004. She has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions since the fall of 2000, when her work was selected for Le rendez-vous des jeunes créateurs en arts, which took place at the Marché Bonsecours in Montréal. Though primarily a painter, she is drawn to a variety of mediums and has more recently begun exploring printing her art on clothing and other materials, transferring images onto different canvasses and creating new works in the process. Her work has been exhibited in galleries in Montreal, Halifax, Edmonton and in the Eastern Townships. She lives and works in Montreal.
