My name is Justin Byars and I am a photographer based out of Los Angeles, California. I was born in the Los Angeles area, but grew up in Dayton, Nevada. I moved back to Los Angeles in 2008, where I have lived since. I attended California State University, Northridge where I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing. Eventually, I returned back to school for a second Bachelor’s degree, this time in Nursing. Following an impulse, I dropped out of Nursing school to pursue my photography career in November of 2017. I had no previous experience and took a huge risk, but I wanted to challenge myself and follow my instincts. I have grown tremendously as a person and my artistic abilities have flourished since then and continue to expand with each new experience. I have made incredible connections and friends all across the world, learned so much of life, and I am eternally grateful for this journey of mine.
