Javier Catalan is best known for the wide variety of materials and mediums used when creating his works. Born in Chile, he moved to NY at the age of 2. Javier’s art took form at the young age of 7 were he began with creating anime sketches. He continued to learn and transformed his style throughout the years. To this day, Javier has taught himself everything he knows without any formal art education. He gather’s much of his inspiration from personal tales, nature, and his own imagination. Captivating his audience with his dark, whimsical, and abstract style, he tries to push boundaries whenever he can.
