Owen Patrick Bradley
Visual Art – Minneapolis
Owen Patrick Bradley is a poet with a brush. He is the son of an English professor and a Writer in solitude, and brother to a writer/traveler. Owen has grown up with a strong education and understanding of the power of the written word. When he picked up a brush instead of a pen we watched as his native language disappeared and saw a brand new language, and this new language was full of color. The language of painting has helped Owen come to terms with that which cannot be explained easily by the word. Hence his art is a subjective evaluation of a sometimes unclear concept. His current work is simultaneous Play and Struggle. He attempts to execute this dichotomy through a colorful and precise abstraction.
