Accessories – Seattle
I am a California-born, Maryland-raised, Washington-based artist with a life-long love of jewelry.
I used to love marvelling over my mother\'s treasures from South Asia and other exotic places when I was little (and even as I got older). When I had a part-time job at the now-defunct Museum Company I was finally inspired to learn how to make my own jewelry. I taught myself to make rosary-type links, took some classes, got obsessed with wirework, and the rest is history!
I try to create my jewelry as organically as possible, manipulating fine and/or sterling silver wire with gemstones using natural processes (manual tools, fire, and hand forming). I like to use as few prefab components as possible.
I reside in a loft in Hendrixland with my content editor husband and two feline children (Hadassah and Marquis Cha Cha). I enjoy British comedy, 70s sitcoms, horror movies (psychological thrillers and those from the 60s and 70s), music (lifelong musichead - from Britpop to dub reggae to hip hop to classic rock and beyond), dance, and the Oregon Coast.
