Pat Mestizo

Pat Mestizo is an artist from Vancouver, Canada. Having a passion for self expression and a lust for the extraordinary, Pat Mestizo has naturally found his bearings in art. A self-taught artist with no training, Pat started painting for its meditative aspect. What was once a way out of the monotonous life of 9-5 has a become a full time passion for creation. His art usually only consists of 3 colours and are highly thought provoking images that induce a connection between the chaos of imagination and reality. He has also found himself dipping into pop culture, infusing his style into familiar influential figures. His art is very influenced by love, freedom and time and his biggest aspiration as an artist is to give his audience an escape. He believes that the greatest aspect of art is the capability to walk someone through a place and time that is not bound by circumstance and society.
