Pirate Piercings

Everyones body is reshaped and changed over time. Changing our body into something even more personal than mother nature can create, takes dedication. We have been modifying our body for thousands of years with no reason or explanation of why other than it creates magic in our lives. This is my magic. I have been drawn to piercing since elementary school, when I first pierced my face and stretched my ears, and it made a large positive impact on my life. Since then I had the pleasure of experiencing over 75 piercings on my body, some permanent others temporary, and from every one I have learned not only about the physical modification but the mental and spiritual changes I experienced. I find myself driven to study the history, methods, body play, and celebrations of body modification. Some as ancient as time itself, and others as new as tomorrow.
