Radiodust

Music – Boise

Progressive Alt-Rock Who says \"Indie\" can\'t include hard rock or progressive styles of music? If the term \"indie\" still has ties to it\'s original meaning then Radiodust is all indie. Or rather, independent, defined by: creating, writing, performing, recording, mixing and mastering music without any outside professional assistance or reliance on trends, genres, etc. Basically Radiodust is a band that Pitchfork would love to hate..? Drawing on elements of classic rock but firmly rooted in a modern, progressive style, Radiodust pulls from influences as diverse as Porcupine Tree, Pink Floyd, Blue Oyster Cult, Queensryche, OSI, Dream Theater, Stone Temple Pilots and more. Formed in early 2013 as the brainchild of songwriter/producer and multi-instrumentalist, JD Stefan, the music of Radiodust packs all that diversity into a traditional song structure without stretching into 10-minute prog jams. At least not so far as of yet... The music is based around an edgy 2-guitar approach supported by an intricate yet powerful rhythm section.
