REvCAL BOSTON

Born and raised in Cambridge, Ma Betsy Calixte was surrounded by rich and diverse cultures, which always inspired her artistically. She went to Virginia after high school to major in architecture. After two years she realized that was not her calling. She returned home and enrolled into the School of Fashion Design in Boston where she learned how to sew. While honing her skills she was able to incorporate what she learned from architecture and apply her love for clean lines into her fashion designs. After graduting from SFD in 2013, Betsy is ready to launch the \"RevCal Boston\" brand into the fashion world.The name RevCal stems from combining her mother\'s maiden name (Revilien) and her fathers last name (Calixte). Both parents were born and raised in Haiti, so RevCal is more than just a brand, its her lineage. Her career goals are to own a traveling boutique, and to be a creator/producer for a student designer reality television series.
