Visual Art – San Francisco

Ruby's first camera was given to her at age 9 (a Vivitar that used film, not digital). Her dad was a photographer. Looks like the apple didn't fall far from the tree. She took a course for photography in college, which required a manual camera. It was the first time she learned of various techniques which she uses today. It was also the first time she was told she "had an eye" for photography by her instructor. She absolutely loves taking photos of landscape, nature, still life, long exposures, and astrophotography. Combining her photographs with digital art and editing allows her to show forth her unique and creative side. Aside from photography, she loves spending time with family & friends. She's passionate about science and has recently earned a Bachelors of Arts degree in Biology from San Francisco State University. So as you can imagine, she loves being in nature, being under the stars, and hiking & camping with her family and friends.
