Accessories – San Francisco

My name is Salvatore and it seems that a bio page should talk about who a person is. What I realized is that the person that I am was tempered by my art, so attempting to explain myself pre-leather will not accurately do it. I work in Leather, mostly. I went to fashion school and dropped out when I was first exposed to leather because I realized that the fashion industry was not going to teach me what I really wanted to know. In fact, I realized more and more, nobody could teach me what I wanted to know. This is when my personal quest for knowledge began. I was compelled to learn how to work with leather the old ways. The ways that, above all else, treated leather with the respect it deserves. My obsession further deepened when I had the revelation that leather is actually a divine textile. Each piece was unique so I decided from then on that every piece that I make from then on would be unique. Even if I have two of the same design there are always subtle differences because they are all as unique as the soul that gave it to us. I wanted to give it new life born out of pure respect. In this odyssey I opened up a whole world that I was previously blind to and started on a path toward sustainable, skilled living. I am also eternally grateful for my little crew, Jake, Franz, the lovely Grace and my family. Thank you for taking a little time to read about my deal. Salvatore
