Visual Art – Victoria

I was born in a small town in former Yugoslavia. I grew up appreciating the pastoral and traditional forms of work: farming, embroidery, shoemaking, etc. I was surrounded by a strong Hungarian influence with a mother who loved to dance and a father who showed me the power of the waters through fishing. This has aided my everyday production of art. I try to encompass spirituality as it ebbs and flows through my daily life. My intentions are to attend to my creativity by exploring the spread of culture through art. I find it difficult to categorize art without acknowledging rebellion since it’s something so much more authentic and moody then a word or phrase. My goal is also to encourage questions and remain curious.
