Sarah Jane Bradley

Based in Brisbane, I\'m an illustrative artist whose work is usually conceived next to a cup of coffee... while I overstay my welcome in some unsuspecting coffee shop. Along with my obsession with cafe art attacks, I\'m also romanced by intricate detail, woodland creatures, emotive contrast and of course beautiful beards. Although the context of my work may stray depending on how good the coffee is, my art is usually a personal exploration of such specific themes. I feel most at home with traditional media, experimenting a lot with a small palette of vibrant colours. My favourite tool of the trade at present is wax pencils, water colour and witty fine-tips. I enjoy the adventure of mediums that keep me on the edge of my seat in suspense until I finish, and aim for that energy to be translated into the final piece. Knowing I\'ve chosen a creative life makes every day a beautiful challenge and amidst such a bustling lifestyle each artistic milestone feels nothing short of a miracle.
