Born in NY. As a child I would read my Grandmothers art encyclopedias from the early 1900\'s. I started drawing based on this and never stopped. I started drawing seriously in my early twenties and selling my art as well. I worked as an assistant to an art collector and was exposed to many different kinds of art and improved my style and vision. Living in NYC has made my work more edgy and emotional. I make art to make others feel something when see it. I work in colored pencil and charcoal. I enjoy using bold contrasts and bright colors and surreal human anatomy.
