Seth Young

Growing up on the North Dakota plains, a kid had only a few choices. One popular option was to start drinking and listen to pop country and Lil Wayne. That didn't seem too exciting, so I started drawing and listening to metal music. After observing the art of hardcore albums and attending local shows, to escape the inanity of my little town I started to research some of these artists, namely Jake Bannon, John Baizely, Dave Quiggle, and Derek Hess. Imagine my joy when I learned I could do the same thing for a living, and the relief when I realized there wasn't much else I COULD do. Since then I've enrolled at the Minneapolis College of art and design, and have been broadening my skills as far as medium, composition, and concept, and been trying to work with some local bands.
