Designer and maker Jenna Spearing approaches each piece like she approaches life: don’t be afraid to live outside the norm, take unexpected turns, and make people stop and stare. Every piece is made by hand, cut from sheets of sterling silver, brass or copper, and formed into beautiful, unusual new shapes. Shape & Strike is especially known for its homemade blue copper patina—a solution of simple kitchen products accelerates the oxidation process until a tactile patina grows on the copper’s surface, full of sunset tones, blues and its own unique topography.
