Sherry Frydenlund

I am Sherry Frydenlund. From the south side of Chicago and moving to a small town in the mountains of Colorado, my childhood is as diverse as my career as an artist. In 2000, I earned my degree in Computer Animation from the Art Institute of Colorado. I received top honors in my class and was given the Best 2D Animation Film Award at the Bug Theater. I have found great success over the years with a diverse background of being a college professor, art director, graphic designer, and fine artist. I also became a yoga teacher in 2011. I am currently concentrating my efforts in oil painting, graphic design and teaching yoga. My paintings have been exhibited in multiple venues around the LoDo area and have sold out entirely multiple times. Although I have been successful at working in both the digital and traditional sides of the art world, I am finding that fine art allows me more expressive freedom as I grow. Painting is more of a meditative ritual for me, which nicely intertwines the yoga element of my world. I am excited to explore this more fully!
