Visual Art – San Francisco
Simon Laub is a San Francisco based Artist. He grew up in sunny Santa Barbara, CA where he honed his graffiti skills. He was a singer in a punk band and was drawn to the counter-culture aspects of street art. He began taking art classes his senior year of high school and decided to start painting canvas's instead of walls.
After moving to San Francisco he has adopted a style that is inclusive of the many aspects of Simon's life including graffiti, bay area hip-hop, and psychedelic influences. He likes to create pieces that harmonize completely separate ideas on to one medium, juxtaposed with patterns and color. He currently creates works for display at local venues as well as commissioned private pieces.
