Hello, my name is Aneta Monica and I am a self taught artist who has a passion for video games! Specifically, anything Nintendo! I grew up playing Nintendo all my life and continue to enjoy new games as an adult. I channel this love and passion for gaming into my paintings! The reason why I started painting video game characters is because before I started doing art, I had wanted to buy a Mario painting, and found that no one was painting them in Calgary! So with Mario on the brain and a paint brush in hand, I decided to paint my own Mario painting, and from there it exploded into painting any cool ideas that pop into my head. While I mainly paint Nintendo themed paintings, I also create paintings based on ideas that pop into my head, such a landscapes, animals and objects. I am a always open to painting new ideas and designs, so when a opportunity arises I always challenge myself to paint new things! Hope to see you at the Event!
