Ashley Smith's artistic journey started when she was 3 years old living in Germany. Born from a family of artists, she developed a love of exploring different mediums. When Ashley moved to Japan at age 9, she became passionate about learning how to draw the Manga characters. Now living in Maryland, and graduating with a college degree in Art and Design, Ashley has developed a passion in painting things that she has struggled with in her life. She enjoys creating imaginary worlds and characters that struggle with mental health and physical ailments to bring awareness to the world. Ashley and her husband decided to start a business where she can be an art teacher and he can focus on his unique wood furniture. Ashley's art mediums are Acrylics, charcoal, pastels, and embroidery.
