Visual Art – San Antonio

when i was a child i colored for fun... not much has changed ;) i have no formal training but have had the opportunity to paint with some really amazing people!! as for how i started... my father painted cars and i thought that was the coolest thing in the world... so i wanted to grow up to be a painter. i started playing with spray paint when i was 12 .. nothing fancy... but when i was 15 i met a lady by the name of dainty lewis... she changed my life forever.. she let me use her studio and all the supplies she had... so from there i went on to acrylics and water colors.... but always found myself going back to spray paint.. maybe it was the challenge of working with a can or the intrigue of graffiti... although i never really got into graffiti... think it was a lil too abstract for me... but i\'ve learned alot from my graffiti friends ;) \"not sure where i\'m going but i know i\'m on my way\" so for the last couple of years i\'ve been trying to learn photo realism.... playing with depth of field and bokeh effects... somehow i got lucky enough to have The Paintyard help me realize my dream ( it helps to have the supplies you need ;) and the real fun part of it all.. i like to do it live... there\'s not mistakes when you paint live.. \"just happy accidents \" -bob ross
