Christine is the cosmic creator of Spacecake design.
Multidisciplinary artist and mother of 4 space cadets, Christine’s quirky and colourful works of wearable art are mainly inspired by space and science.
Christine has always been very crafty, drawing and painting from a very early age.
As a young adult she was interested in fashion and started off her business as a self taught dressmaker which eventually progressed into creating plushies and costumes.
She is currently exploring the microscopic world of bacteria, fascinated by these tiny creatures that live inside our bodies as though we are their very own galaxy!
The Microbe monster collection is a series of 100 designs, inspired by microorganisms, all individually hand drawn, baked and turned into pins that are out of this world!
